This blog is full of some of my favorite items, I hope you enjoy!

Fortune Collection by Abi Ferrin Beautiful Top,mac makeup, L
I’m not going to lie – I looked like a complete idiot trying to get this on.  I don’t really know why, because it seems fairly simple now that I look at it.  I think this top runs a little large and am going to keep it if I can’t find someone willing to give up their medium.  Hint, hint. It is a beautiful top (ha. ha.) with amazing fabric.  Even though Karen (of Fortune) described it as a rich girl’s wifebeater, I definitely think that, for me, this is a going out shirt.

LinQ Raglan Short Sleeve Cowl Tee, Jade, L
I know everyone’s suggesting to size down in this, but I wouldn’t suggest it unless you’re between sizes.  It feels like it runs a half size large, but that’s okay for me.  The Jade is to DIE for, and so is the design of the shirt.  I am a huge fan of LinQ, it never fails me.  I know a lot of the girls are bored with it, but I say bring it on!  They make lovely shirts that are soft, comfortable and stylish.  Love, love, love this!

LinQ V-Strap Back Cami, Putty, L
This is also another one I have heard people saying to size down in. (Ugh,mac makeup wholesale, I just ended a sentence in a preposition, my mother would kill me.)  I think that this also runs about .25-.5 large, so I definitely couldn’t size down.  This is a very pretty shirt and would have loved to snag it in a different color, but they’re all gone .  I think the watermelon color is especially beautiful.  This is yet another one of my favorite purchases.

For a quick recap, email me at memorieslikefireflies@hotmail.com if you have a M in the Beautiful Top or if you want the following items:

Denim for Immortality Cords, Size 30 (FITS 29, maybe larger 28)

http://redtagcrazy.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/img_1024-116×300.jpg

Red Engine Scarlett Denim in Night Sky, Size 30 (FITS 29 or 30 based on your shape)
LinQ Short Sleeve Shirred Yoke Polo in Cornflower, wholesale mac makeup, Large (FITS XL or L if you like it really loose)

Or if you have the following you want to give up:

LinQ Lurex Crossback Cami in L or M
Zensei Linen Zip-Up Koi Fish Hoodie, size 4
DL1961 Milano Bootcut in 31 (have 30, willing to trade)

Hi everyone, this is a great theme for blogs since we get to know each other through chick chat and through blogs, but if you’re like me you haven’t always put the chick chat name together with the blog.  This is my 4th blog, I think, and I always have fun getting to share a bit about myself and getting to learn more about others too.

1. RTC Chat Name  – K04 it is a shortened version of my email address.  Not very creative!

2. What do you do for a living? — I work in Regulatory Affairs for a system of colleges.  My job is to communicate with the state Boards of Higher Education

3. Describe your hidden talent — I can recognize almost any episode of Saved by the Bell within the first 30-60 seconds and usually bust out a few quotes too

4. Tell us about your most embarrassing moment – well some of you might think my SBTB knowledge mentioned above is embarrasing hehe but aside from that my most embarassing moment was falling during HS graduation.  Yes, it actually does happen to people, mac makeup wholesale, and if you’re lucky like me, it will be caught on the professional graduation tape everyone was given!

5. What is your guilty pleasure?  – MTV reality shows like 16 & Pregnant and the Hills/City

6. What makes you cringe?  – people chewing with their mouths open

7. Who is your celebrity crush?  – oh my, this changes all the time, so I’ll go with Gerard Butler this time

8. Describe the one item of clothing you can’t live without — Joe’s Provocs in Harvey – most perfect jeans ever

9. If you can be anywhere right now, cheap mac makeup, where would you be? Why?  – on a warm beach along the ocean.  Why?  A relaxing vacation sounds heavenly right now

10. Why do you love RTC? – it has opened my eyes up to new brands and makes fashion much more affordable

Dresses Review Part 1 redtagcrazy.com blog

redtagcrazy.com

current sale alerts blog my account

So this past weekend I went through my whole wardrobe, taking out everything RTC that I’ve ordered and started taking pictures of everything. I think I went a little crazy. But I’ve been wanting to do this for a long while now, wholesale mac makeup, so no time like the present. They say it’s a gift, ya know? So here goes the first of my installments.

Dresses, dresses, dresses…  It’s really the defining piece of clothing for a woman. Even men wear kilts! But you don’t see many men in dresses. Aside from Dennis Rodman. Hehe! As a kid, even though I was the biggest tomboy, I still liked wearing skirts and dresses. I think this is because I really preferred being naked, but since Mom wasn’t letting that happen, dresses were the next closest, non-constricting thing. And now that I’ve grown into this whole womanhood thing, I still love them.  I’m up to 7 RTC dresses thus far. Here are my non-SV ones!

I’m getting ready for a trip to Thailand soon so I was looking for anything light and airy since I know it’s going to be quite hot over there. So I ordered the Aude Spencer Dress (aqua, size 3) from the closeout tab. In the picture, the model is wearing it without anything under it. Yah, I could never do that! But it looks just find with a cami under it or it’d be fine over a bathing suit, cheap mac makeup, which I’m sure I’ll be wearing a lot over there as well. I really like the color and I love the lightness and softness of the fabric. I think it’s an excellent choice for those super hot days. I love the length of it too. My legs are not my best feature, not even close, but I like where this dress hits me.

Second up for review is the Aude Mettler Dress (black, mac makeup, size 3).  Again, I ordered this from the closeout tab with the intent of wearing it in the hot hot heat of Thailand. I wasn’t sure what to expect of this one since it’s hard to make out details of a black dress in the photos. The fabric isn’t as flow-y as the Spencer dress. It’s a little more stiff and a little shorter too, but I still think will be a great buy and wear for the hot days. I love that it has a little pocket in the upper left chest. I love little details like that. It fits me in the chest great. The girls were very happy in it. And if the girls are happy, then mama’s happy. Actually, that’s not my saying… But close enough.  If you’re looking for a great little summer dress to just throw on with some flip flops and big sunglasses and go, I’d recommend this.  Add a great chunky necklace or bracelet and you’re styling!

Lastly, one I did not order for my trip. I just ordered it cuz I thought I could rock it! Every girl needs a little black dress they feel amazing in, and I was hoping this would be mine, since I didn’t already have one. It’s the BB Dakota Crawford Dress (black, medium).  When I saw it on RTC I looooved the sweetheart neckline. Never had a sweetheart neckline on anything before and thought I could pull it off.  I always see things differently in the mirror than in the camera, though I’m sure the camera is more truthful.  But it doesn’t matter. I feel amazing in the dress!! And isn’t that all that really counts? I’ve yet to wear it on a date (waiting for warmer weather) but I can’t wait to show the boyfriend.  I think he’ll love me in it, and in turn love to get me out of it. (teehee)  Like I said I love the neckline and I love the fabric of the dress. It’s thick and soft and not binding or constricting. Has a great amount of stretch to it so I feel free. One of my best purchases. I think I’ll wear it for my birthday actually. Why the heck not?!

More dress reviews coming soon! All SV!

Britney Style-y Payless ShoeSource redtagcrazy.com blog

When I was younger, I used to hate going to Payless ShoeSource. I would say every pair was ugly just to get out of there as quick as possible. I thought that shopping at Payless ShoeSource meant that you were poor and/or had no fashion sense. Girl, was I wrong!?

I just recently discovered Payless when I needed cute black flats for a funeral and couldn’t find any decently priced shoes that fit the style of the shirt I had bought or that were comfortable enough to wear all day. I had gone to Marshall’s, Ross, Target, and Wal-Mart to find A) inexpensive shoes that were uncomfortable or B) comfortable shoes that were out of my price range. As I was driving home after finding absolutely nothing, I remembered Payless was around the corner, so I decided to stop in and see what they have. Couldn’t hurt, right? Well, look what I found!

American Eagle Black Kitten Heels

These actually have a 1/2 inch heel, but you can’t tell because of the carpet. According to the shoebox, American Eagle is not affiliated with American Eagle Outfitters which is a bit confusing, but whatever. At first, I didn’t think they would be comfortable because of the pointy toe, wholesale mac makeup, but I was wrong. My toes didn’t get squished together at all! I can’t wait to wear them again.

I went back about two weeks later to get more shoes, just because.

American Eagle Ruffle Flats

These are also American Eagle brand. Black was also available in this style, but I opted for the reddish-purple. I’m a colorful person. The ruffles are structured, so there is no way they will get smashed and messed up in my closet.

Airwalk Mocassins

This is my favorite pair of shoes right now. Comfy, casual and bright. I like to wear them with my blue Zooey racerback tank.

Lela Rose for Payless Striped Flats

I love the little bit of red on these flats. It makes the pair much more versatile. They have a vintage feel to them as well because the black stripes are sort of faded. Lela Rose for Payless had quite a few pairs I would’ve liked to wear, but my size had sold out.

City Sneaks Shoes

These are very similar to Ked’s, and I think they are so cute. And yes, I double-knot my laces!

American Eagle Floral Kitten Heels

Pinky toe cleavage! These have a 1/2 inch heel, cheap mac makeup, but it’s hidden by the carpet. Very fitting for spring, especially with the strappy heel.

After this trip, I can definitely say that I will continue to shop at Payless ShoeSource.

Let’s Talk About Shoes & Styles redtagcrazy.com blog

redtagcrazy.com

current sale alerts blog my account

Time to talk shoes. I’ll admit it. I’ve never been much of a shoe person. In the past, my hierachy of fashion priority has basically been:
1. Tops
2. Bottoms
3. Accessories
4. Shoes

Throughout my senior year of high school, I would proudly strut my newest outfits during the school day and pair them with tennis shoes. I know, not great. In my defense, I was in a music and dance performance group (AKA: show choir) and had rehearsal nearly every day during some classes and after school. I always had to be ready to dance.

The other problem was that shoe shopping was simply a disaster for me. I was so picky, a shoe had to fit perfectly for me to commit to it, or I wouldn’t wear it. I just directed my funds toward the top of my head to my ankles, and neglected the need for cute shoes. It’s not that I didn’t like shoes, they just never felt right on me.

Well I’ve finally come to tolerate shoes that are a decent fit, and much to my delight, I’ve broken them in quite nicely. I’ve also developed a love for boots. They’re my new favorite shoe, and unlike tennis shoes, look great with just about everything.

I’ve even eased into wearing heels. I’ve always shied away from heels, because regretfully I admit I have some trouble with coordination. It’s not as bad as it sounds though, cheap mac makeup, I’m probably a little too careless when I walk. I tend to hit a lot of corners as I walk through my house, and trip frequently, with the occasional wipe-out. But it’s all good, wholesale mac makeup, I’ve learned to laugh at myself.

Anyway, the odd part is that I am able to move in heels. It’s regular walking that gives me trouble. I mentioned show choir at the beginning of this blog, and I started out dancing in a modest two-inch secure character heel during my first year to a open-toed,mac makeup wholesale, open-ankled strappy three-inch heel by my last season. So as long as I am constantly moving, I’m great in heels.

If you’re like me and have problems with heels, here is what I have learned: start with a heeled boot. I have a great pair of ankle boots that have heels, and I don’t walk perfectly, but I’m getting better at it, and am able to walk with confidence and only stumble a few times (okay, maybe more like 9 or 10, but I’m getting there) and even though I don’t need it too much (5′7″), the extra height feels great.

Hmm… what else do you want to know about me??

1. I have been baton twirling for over 13 years.

I started twirling when I was 7 years old and I saw a girl on my street that was always outside practicing. She invited me to one of her shows and I knew that I wanted to twirl as well. I have won many titles and have taken my twirling team, mac makeup, the Dazzlers, cheap mac makeup, to the national competition. I twirl fire too!

2. I love pageantry and was crowned Miss Southern California Teen 2006.

Contest #8 Results How I Went RedTagCrazy redtagcrazy.com blog

A big thank you to everyone who entered this contest.  There were so many lovely stories submitted, I can only imagine how hard it was to choose one winner.

Congratulations to April for her entry!

My redtag experience has been so much fun, I am  26 years old I have 3 wonderful children and have been happily married to the best man ever for 8 years now. I have never really indulged in anything, mac makeup, being a mom its hard to justify buying myself things instead of my children, so needless to say I have not been ever really complimented on outfits and if I have it would have been because of something my husband would have picked out for me.

At the beginning of February I was watching the early 6:30 am news to find out what the weather would be like so I could appropriately dress my children for the day. Then after the weather they were talking about saving money and looking great and about this new website called REDTAGCRAZY where you can buy high end clothes for 60% to 80% off, i immediately ran to the computer and starting lurking, checking out the clothes anxiously waiting for the next item to pop up, I made my first purchase on Feb 21 and since than have been unable to go a day without checking the site. I have now purchased 33 which isn’t allot compared to most of the people on here but for me 33 items of clothing is a huge amount since Feb, normally I buy about 7 items of clothing a year if that.

I have started working out, wholesale mac makeup, eating better and really feeling great about my body as it is, not only do I have great clothes to wear but a community of people who can advise me in anything from what to wear with my linQ skirt to helping me plan my trip to Italy, what to wear and what to see (which was a great trip by the way).

I’ve noticed that my husband is starting to update his wardrobe as well, cheap mac makeup, my girls love to watch the new items come up and I have heard them screaming on more than one occasion about a cute shirt I need to see or them giving me heck for not getting the cute Cino dress they think will look cute on me (my girls are 7 & 5).

So all in all Thank-you redtag

My newest shipment…Thank you RTC! redtagcrazy.com blog

Well here I am again. It has taken me quite a while to write another blog but I felt that this one needed to be written. I am going to post photos of my recent (2nd ) shipment and I want to thank a few people.

I feel it is my duty as a loyal RTC shopper to post my pictures so you all can see what the clothes look like on me. I have putting off the photo session because I have a distorted image of myself. I am not the tallest, cheap mac makeup, thinnest, most beautiful person but I am ME (and I love me). Once I took the step and tried on my RTC clothes I felt wonderful all over again. I don’t remember whose blog said it but someone said that RTC does wonders for the self-image and boy are they right! Now that I have the photos I can’t wait to share them with you all. * And just for bragging rights I have included a picture of my children (Rebecca 8, Neomi 6 and the twins Joshua & Emily 4), they are what keeps me young, happy and loving life!

I love LinQ! I had never heard of it until I came here to RTC. I wake up every morning going through my schedule hoping I don’t have to go to the baseball field and practice with the kids. I know what you are all thinking, wear it anyways, but then I might get it dirty!

My shipment included:

LinQ – Racerback Sequin tank in Gray (L)

LinQ – Mini plaid Henley in Ink (L)

LinQ – Stripe Shirred tank in Gray/Gold (L)

Zlush – Faded Passion tank (L) – This shirt was bought specifically to wear when we take out the Harley. This is with my new leather jacket and this is what I will look like next week on our ride!

LinQ – Silk Tie skirt in Green Slate (M)

I want to close this blog with thanking and giving Kudos to a few people here that have helped me:

JP, Once again thank you for answering all my questions…..You always answer quickly, honestly and you never made me feel stupid!

Kamie, wholesale mac makeup, where do I begin……Thank you for all the quick changes to my cart, mac makeup, putting up with my emails and for sending out the cards. I hope I can do my part and bring in more business for RTC!

College Life “The Sub” Food and Dorm Cooking redtagcrazy.com blog

redtagcrazy.com

current sale alerts blog my account

At UPS, everybody who lives on campus has a meal plan that they (or their parents) paid for at the very beginning of the year. With those meal points you can get food from the cafes, the dining hall or the cellar. The cellar is like a mini-mart and pizza parlor combined. Our dining hall is endearingly called “the Sub.”

The Sub offers a variety of foods. There is an Italian, Asian, mac makeup, Mexican, mac makeup wholesale, Grill, Salad, Sandwich and Full Fare station. Full Fare is more typical American food like macaroni & cheese and bbq ribs. Overall the food in the sub is relatively fresh and not all that bad. At the beginning of the year I was quite happy with the Sub and it’s offerings.

The problem with the sub, cheap mac makeup, though, is that it is too repetitive. Most foods go in a rotation. You’ll have it one week and it’ll reappear a few weeks later. Like most things in life, too much of a good thing is a bad thing. Or in the case of the food in the Sub, too much of decent food makes the food seem mediocre at best, inedible at worst.

The solution to that for my friends and I is that occasionally we’ll go out to eat or cook our own foods in the dorms. Dining out is a rare occurance since we’re all relatively broke college freshman. The opportunity to cook is therefore an economic, fun and tasty alternative to eating in the Sub. I recently have been making rice in the rice cooker my mom brought for me when she visited and different simple chinese recipes which my mom sends me.

Sometimes when we have extra time, my friends and I will even take it upon ourselves to bake a cake. The best time was when a few friends and I decided to make a cake and had everything ready when we realized we had nothing to mix things with. we were quite determined to make the cake, though, and so we used our hands for mixing and spreading of the frosting. It turned out to be a rather fun and tasty cake (even though it didn’t look all that great). My friend Michelle, however, is the real baker out of my friends. Michelle makes the most incredible ice cream cakes imagineable. Here is a picture of her most recent creation:

Yup! She made it all herself So as you can see, UPS offers a variety of decent food but when one gets bored of it you can always go and whip something up in the dorm kitchens!

Wow… okay. So,mac makeup wholesale, after I apologize for the sniffles I have, the fact that I fixed my bra (even though you thankfully couldn’t see it,wholesale mac makeup!) and for being a pile of ridiculousness…

Someone else needs to start doing these too. Because really, cheap mac makeup, a ton of me all the time is going to suck.
